Sport and outdoor events in Toulouse

No fixed slot and no try-outs: AEGEE Toulouse picks its next activity around what members ask for, and rents the gear so nobody needs to own anything first. Joining is free.

In short

AEGEE Toulouse runs sport and outdoor activities around Toulouse with no fixed weekly slot: the next one is picked from what members ask for, not from a set programme. Equipment is rented on the spot, so there is nothing to own or bring, and no level or licence is required to take part.

The format

Members decide what's next

There is no recurring slot and no season plan: an activity happens because members asked for it. AEGEE Toulouse rents the equipment on site, so turning up with no gear and no experience is the default, not the exception.

What's next changes every time. Recent activities have run from wakeboarding and climbing to karting, laser game, bowling and a water day at La Ramée: no fixed programme, and that is deliberate.

How do you take part?

Two steps, in this order: you cannot book an activity before you are a member.

  1. Ask to join

Send AEGEE Toulouse a direct message on Instagram. No fee and no restriction: Erasmus or not, student or not, anyone who shares what the association stands for is welcome.

  2. Book your spot

Once you are a member, pick the next activity on the ticketing page. Spots are limited, so an early look at what is coming up is worth it.

Want to see a new activity happen?

The programme exists because members ask for it. If there is something you want to try, from a sport you already know to one you have never tried, AEGEE Toulouse is looking for people willing to suggest it and help make it happen.

Common questions

  • Do you need to be an athlete or hold a licence?

No. There is no level or licence required for any activity. Equipment and instruction, where needed, are arranged on site.

  • Are the activities free?

Membership is free. Most activities are free too, and when one has a cost, such as renting equipment or an entry fee, AEGEE Toulouse either covers it or charges no more than it paid.

  • What language are the activities in?

English. AEGEE Toulouse is a multilingual association, and its activities run in English so that any international student can follow.

  • Do you need to be an Erasmus or exchange student?

No. There is no restriction at all: anyone who shares what the association stands for can join and take part.

  • How often do new activities come up?

There is no fixed calendar: activities are added through the year, based on what members ask for. What is currently open for booking is always on the ticketing page.

  • How can you suggest a new activity?

By getting in touch. Tell AEGEE Toulouse what you would like to try, and it becomes a candidate for the next slot.
