What it costs

How much do events cost?

The great majority of what AEGEE Toulouse runs costs nothing to attend. When an activity does have a cost, one of two things happens, and never a third.

  • The association pays

    Grants and partnerships cover the whole cost of a lot of what we run, which is why so much of the programme is free to join.

  • You pay what it cost us

    When a venue, a coach or a ticket has to be paid for, the price you see is what the association was charged, split between the people going. No margin is added on top.

  • Membership stays free

    There is no annual fee and no card to buy. Joining AEGEE Toulouse costs nothing, and it is what opens every event on this page.

Two steps, in this order

How do you take part?

  1. Become a member

    Membership is free and open to any student in Toulouse. If your university already partners with us, use the link your international office shared with you. If it does not yet, you have two options. Ask your international relations office to contact AEGEE Toulouse about setting up a partnership, so your school's students get direct access. Or DM us on Instagram to request the membership form yourself. It takes a few minutes and you only ever do it once.

  2. Pick a date and book it

    Every event on this page has its own page with the meeting point, what is included and how many places are left. Choose your ticket, answer the couple of questions the event needs, and your place is confirmed by email.

    Around 20+ a month, spread across six categories: culture, sport, gastronomy, day trips, language workshops and welcome socials.

  • Are the events free?

    The great majority are. When an activity has a cost, the association covers it in whole or in part, or charges exactly what it paid, with no margin added.

  • Do you need to be a member to book an event?

  • How do you book an event?

    On this page. Open the event you want, choose your ticket and confirm. You get an email with the meeting point and the details.

  • Which languages are events run in?

    English is the common language at every event. Many members speak French, Spanish and Italian too, and the language workshops are where you go to practise one of them on purpose.

  • What if an event is already full?

    Get on the waiting list on the event's page. When a place opens up you get an email with a link to take it, first come first served.
